Six Steps to Succeed in the Financial Aid Process 2023-2024

At North Carolina A&T State University, we understand that financial aid is essential to each student and family. The process of financial assistance does not have to be challenging, and we are committed to helping you each step of the way. To assist in finalizing your enrollment process, please use the below checklist. Remember, a satisfied student bill is a satisfied enrollment.  
 
Step 1: Complete Admissions Process

Step 2: Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
• Student and Parent must create FSA User ID here
• Complete the 2023-2024 FAFSA here
• N.C. A&T School Code: 002905
• Use 2021 Tax Information
Step 3: Review FAFSA Results 
• Review your Student Aid Report (SAR) from noreply@fafsa.gov 
• Review results via Aggie Access (Select Aggie Access)
• Submit requested information (if any) or view your financial aid offers 
Step 4: Orientation 
• Register for New Student Orientation 
Step 5: Review Your Bill
• Instructions to View E-Bills 
Step 6: Satisfy Bill 
• Accept or Decline offered student loans via Aggie Access (Select Aggie Access)
  • Grants and Scholarships are automatically accepted
• If accepted aid is greater than charges, NO FURTHER ACTION REQUIRED 
• If accepted aid is less than charges, ACTION REQUIRED
