Animal Sciences Undergraduate Programs

The Animal Sciences Department at North Carolina A&T State University offers the Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, Animal Industry, and Laboratory Animal Science.

Certificate options include Equine Management, Biotechnology, and Waste Management. 

The department serves the greater poultry, livestock and veterinary professional community through sponsored extension and continuing educational programs. Summer programs exist for youth from middle school through high school with faculty and staff participation.  Students may spend anywhere from one to four weeks on campus learning about the diverse program offerings and opportunities within the School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences and the university as well.
