Master of Arts in Teaching History Education
The Department of History and Political Science offers a Masters of Arts in Teaching Degree with a concentration on Secondary History Education.
The General Deadlines for applications are:
- Fall - June 1
- Spring - Nov 1
- Summer - April 1
To be accepted into the MAT program, the student must have:
- 24 credit hours of content-related course work with a grade of C or better
- Verification of criminal background
- Unconditional admission requires an undergraduate GPA of 2.8 or higher
