Ph.D. in Applied Science and Technology
The Ph.D. Program in Applied Science and Technology (AST) provides doctoral level education opportunities for students interested in a challenging interdisciplinary STEM graduate education with an intellectually stimulating, culturally diverse, and societally relevant career development experience. The Ph.D. degree in AST offers several concentrations. The Department of Applied Engineering Technology is the home department for the Technology Management (TEMG) concentration.
The TEMG concentration prepares exceptional leaders and scholars in examining the dynamic relationship of technological innovation and organizational change, and their impact on organizations and society. The concentration builds on the department’s strength in engineering technology research and elevates student to encompass knowledge in human behavior, organizations, and social systems. All TEMG related courses are offered online. Graduates will find technology-related opportunities in industry, government, and academia.
