February One 65th Anniversary Observance
N.C. A&T will observe the 65th anniversary of the Feb. 1, 1960, A&T Four sit-in at Woolworth's in Greensboro with a celebration Friday, Jan. 31, on campus. The theme is "Perseverance: The Power of an Ageless Revolution."
It will kick off with the annual breakfast and program beginning at 7 a.m. in the Alumni-Foundation Event Center, 200 N. Benbow Road, Greensboro, where the unsung heroes of the historic event will be recognized, along with the 2025 Human Rights Medal awardee. Tickets are available at the Ticket Office in Brown Hall.
A wreath-laying ceremony at the February One Monument on University Circle, in front of Dudley Memorial Building, will follow at 10 a.m.
The high school engagement program will be at 10:30 a.m. in Harrison Auditorium, 1009 Bluford St., Greensboro.
