New rankings recently released by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education show North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University leads all historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in graduating Black bachelor’s degree earners and all U.S. universities in graduation of Black bachelor’s and doctoral students in engineering.

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University has received a gift of $250,000 to establish the Dr. Leonard C. Uitenham and Dr. Daniel T. Weidenthal Endowed Professorship in Bioengineering in the Department of Chemical, Biological and Bioengineering in the College of Engineering (COE).

Martin, Sr., Chancellor Emeritus at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, was honored today with the Peter McPherson Lifetime Achievement Award at the APLU Annual Meeting currently taking place in Orlando. The APLU award recognizes an individual whose career has been dedicated to the service and leadership of public and land-grant universities.
