N.C. A&T Returning to Normal Operations Monday

With weather conditions improving across the Piedmont Triad, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University will return to normal operations Monday morning at 8 a.m., discontinuing Condition 1, which has been in effect since noon Friday.

N.C. A&T Moving to Condition 1 at Noon on Friday, All Move-In Activities Postponed to Monday

In anticipation of a winter weather event that will bring snow, ice and sub-freezing temperatures to Greensboro starting tomorrow evening, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University will move to Condition 1 starting at noon on Friday and ending at 8 a.m. Monday. North Carolina A&T offices and buildings will cease operations for the day with the start of Condition 1.

Moorman Named Interim Police Chief for A&T

Jack W. Moorman, Ed.D., MPA, a seasoned law enforcement leader who previously served for eight years as police chief for North Carolina State University will assume leadership of the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Police Department as interim chief.

Davis, Smith-Jackson Inducted into N.C. State Engineering Hall of Fame

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s Lauren Davis, Ph.D., industrial and systems engineering professor in the College of Engineering, and Tonya Smith-Jackson, provost and executive vice chancellor of Academic Affairs, have been inducted into North Carolina State University’s Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering Alumni Hall of Fame.

N.C. A&T to Host Annual Shred and Recycling Day on Oct. 28

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s Information Technology Services, Center of Excellence in Cybersecurity Research, Education and Outreach and Waste Management Institute are partnering to offer the annual Aggie Shred and Recycling Day on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Lindsay and Laurel streets on campus in recognition of October as Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
