North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University alumna Jamilla Pinder ‘19 was sworn in as Greensboro’s newest city council member Feb. 4.
Liesl K. Jeffers-Francis, Ph.D., an associate professor in the College of Science and Technology (CoST), has been named a 2025 Award for Excellence in Teaching winner by the UNC Board of Governors (BOG).

The program, “Introduction to University Galleries – Learning to Look,” will be held Thursday, March 20, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Dudley Memorial Building, 202 University Circle.
