Division of Legal Affairs, Risk and Compliance
The Division of Legal Affairs, Risk, and Compliance supports the North Carolina A&T’s academic mission and strategic plan by working collaboratively with institutional and external partners to ensure an understanding of and adherence to the university’s ethical, legal and regulatory responsibilities. The Division of Legal Affairs, Risk and Compliance consists of the Office of Legal Affairs, the Office of Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management, the Title IX Office, and the Department of Internal Audit.
Office of Legal Affairs
The Office of Legal Affairs addresses the legal needs of the university by providing in-house legal analysis and information on all matters affecting the university.
Office of Compliance and Risk Management
The Office of Compliance and Risk Management is to assist the university, in carrying out its academic mission with integrity and in accordance with the university’s legal, regulatory and ethical responsibilities.
Title IX Office
The Title IX Office is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy educational and work environment that is free from sexual harassment and other sexual misconduct.
Office of Internal Auditing (OIA)
The OIA assists the University in accomplishing its objectives by utilizing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
