Wellspring Coalition Project: Environmental Science Research Program

This program is designed to provide experiences and support to Black American undergraduates to help them prepare to enroll in environmental science Ph.D. programs, graduate, and become successful professionals within their field. We are looking for eligible undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in environmental sciences.

This program is supported by an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Creating Equitable Pathways to STEM Graduate Education grant.

Benefits

Stipends for award recipients will be $4,000 per semester. Funds are limited, and therefore limited awards will be made.

You will need to upload a personal statement, an unofficial copy of your transcript, and a letter of recommendation from an academic advisor/mentor. Please make sure to submit the entire application (including attached files) at one time.
