North Carolina A&T State University offers a variety of summer programs to inspire the next generations of Aggies. The camps allow young people to explore, learn new skills, prepare for the future – and have fun! Check back frequently as we finalize the camps.

N.C. A&T departments: Registering your camp
All departments (academic, grant-funded, athletic, and enrichment) offering summer camp programs must register their programs. Register your summer camp program. All program directors, staff, and volunteers who work with minors must adhere to the Protection of Minors policy and attend required online Protection of Minors training.

Lady Aggie Elite Camp
About: Camp Features • Grouped by Grade • Intense Individual / Team Skill Work & Competitions • Individual / Team Games, T-Shirt & Prizes Included Check-In Location & Parking Registration will be held in the Corbett Sports Center, located at 1601 E. Market St., Greensboro, NC 27411. (On E. Market Street, turn onto Benbow Rd. Go through the traffic light; on the left, you will see the Corbett Sports Center. Once you go through the traffic light, the next street on your left is John Mitchell Drive; make a left. You can park in the parking lot on the right in between the ROTC building and Haley Hall.) Check-In Parking Parking will be available in front of the Corbett Sports Center. Schedule Registration will begin at 9:00 am. Camp will begin at 9:30 am in the Corbett Sports Center. There will be camp introductions. Then camp will start. Campers, please be dressed and ready to play. Departure Campers need to depart campus by 4:00 pm on Saturday. When making travel plans, please be aware that North Carolina A&T State University Women’s Basketball and Camps are not responsible for supervising your daughter once camp is completed. Meals Lunch will be provided for all campers. Equipment Each camper should bring basketball shoes, playing clothes, water, etc. Balance Due The balance of the camp must be paid in full by camp check in. Medical Authorization In order to immediately treat an injury, a parent or guardian must complete, sign and turn in the Required Medical Form with a copy of the front and back of the camper’s insurance card. This will ensure proper treatment of a possible injury. Failure to complete all necessary paperwork will forfeit the camper’s participation in camp. Camp Behavior Violators of Camp policy, in regard to the use of alcohol, drugs, tobacco, bullying, etc, will result in expulsion from camp. The parent or guardian will be notified immediately of any action by the camp director. Trainer Information: An athletic trainer will be on staff to assist you. Disability To accommodate a camper who has a disability, please contact our office before the camp start date. Transportation: No transportation from the airport, bus, or train stations to campus will be provided. Campers are not permitted to have a vehicle on campus. YOU MUST TURN THE FOLLOWING IN BY CAMP CHECK-IN: • Required Medical Form- fully completed and signed • Copy of the front and back of the camper’s insurance card • Balance Due - NO PERSONAL CHECKS or CASH

North Carolina A&T Volleyball Camp
About: Middle School and Beginners Camp This camp is designed for those just starting out in volleyball, who currently play for their middle school team, or who want to try out for their middle school or JV team. Players within the camp will be placed into groups based on skill level (not age). High School Advanced Camp (Note that two sessions are offered; you are welcome to attend either day or both days. A discount will be applied to those who attend both days.) This camp is designed for skilled volleyball player who wants to work on their game and take it to the next level. This camper should currently be on their JV or varsity team and/or play on a travel team. Players should be able to handle a long day of volleyball competition and training.

Monte Ross Elite Camp
About: Monte Ross Elite Camp will be a one-day event for the area's elite high school basketball players. The camp will include skill development for the first half and competitive play to finish the day off. All campers will leave camp having shown our staff what their basketball ability is and learning what drills they can take home to keep improving their game.

Monte Ross Basketball Day Camp
About: The Monte Ross Basketball Day Camp will be a week-long day camp. This camp will be for elementary through middle school students who want to learn the game of basketball and have fun. This camp will cover all the fundamentals of basketball, so every camper attending camp will be a better player by the end of the week. This camp will also incorporate many games to engage the campers and have the best time possible. Every kid is guaranteed to be a better basketball player by the end of the week, but more importantly, every player is guaranteed to have fun as well.

About: This five-day residential camp for pre-college high-school students with a 2.8 GPA or higher is focused on technology and data analytics. Campers will gain exposure to and hands-on practical experience in using technology in business and the applications of business analytics in generating valuable insights that drive business decisions.

College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences
About: IFAL is a unique week-long leadership development program for rising high school seniors interested in careers in agriculture. Emphasis is placed on career opportunities, emerging technology, citizenship, and leadership development.

Every day, A&T’s Theatre Arts Summer Camp is an exciting adventure packed with fun activities designed to unleash your creativity and build your confidence on stage and behind the scenes. N.C. A&T is proud to host this camp through its nationally ranked Theatre Arts Program, which is recognized as the No. 1 theatre program among HBCUs in North Carolina and #3 in the nation among 34 HBCU theatre programs, according to HBCU-Colleges.com.
Learn the art of acting, master improvisation, create stunning costumes and crafts, move to the beat with dynamic choreography, and find your voice as a performer. Throughout the week, you’ll work with talented instructors and students who will guide you in exploring all aspects of theater.

About: The Professional Accounting Career Exploration (PACE) Program will provide a deeper understanding of careers in accounting and business. Participants will attend workshops and seminars led by industry professionals and participate in team-building activities. They will perform hands-on activities related to accounting and business. Participants will also visit an accounting firm and experience a day in the life of industry professionals.

Department of Chemistry
About: Middle school students will research the properties and applications of homemade, biodegradable plastic. They will focus on creating and testing bioplastics, essentially using the plastics to engage in all facets of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). There will be a mix of serious and fun STEM activities.

About: This summer, The College of Science and Technology (CoST) will offer an interdisciplinary summer camp to expose underrepresented population students to science, technology, and mathematics. The camp provides 10 days of hands-on learning experience focused on project-based, interdisciplinary STEM education. The camp offers 10 days of hands-on learning experience focused on project-based, interdisciplinary STEM education. Participants will engage in science, mathematics, and technology through instruction and immersive activities to build knowledge and confidence. Running six hours daily, the camp includes lunch, breaks, community-building activities, college preparation sessions, field trips, and exciting tech experiences—like coding, programming, networking, drones, robotics, game design, and scientific discovery and experimental methods. Each day introduces a new area of STEM, allowing students to explore diverse scientific fields with focused instruction: for example, Biology on Monday, Chemistry on Tuesday, Physics on Wednesday, Geomatics on Thursday, and so on. Mathematics is incorporated daily, reinforcing its foundational role in all areas of STEM. Participants will learn about STEM career paths and gain insights into strategies for college success. Designed to be a welcoming environment for high school students, the camp fosters learning among peers with similar backgrounds. Mentorship from students and faculty in the College of Science and Technology provides representation and inspiration, encouraging participants to envision themselves in STEM careers. The camp serves 30 rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors, aiming to cultivate or deepen a love for STEM while inspiring participants to consider educational and professional futures in these fields and potentially matriculate in one of CoST majors.

About: Entrepreneurs and Innovators – NEXGEN Residential Summer Camp at NC A&T is designed to be a fun, interactive, engaging experience for high school students. Participants will (1) learn how to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, (2) learn how to discover problems and identify needs in the market, and (3) present a pitch based on a business idea they develop. The week-long residential camp will include a couple of field trips and discussions with entrepreneurs and other support service professionals. Also, participants will be exposed to critical thinking and communication skills needed to be successful in business and life. Of course, other fun activities will be had like Movie Night and Karaoke Night!

Department of Computer ScienceAbout- The GenCyber Program at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T) offers two summer camps targeted at high school students (rising 9th to 12th grade). The two camps will be provided in two weeks in summer 2025: July 21 – 25 and July 28 – August 1. Each camp will run a 40-hour week, 9 am – 5 pm on Monday – Friday, with one-day pre-camp activities on May 3. Students will be exposed to Python programming, cryptography, network security, and artificial intelligence through highly engaging and hands-on activities. Students will learn correct and safe online behaviors and cybersecurity ethics while having fun.
