Agribusiness is the largest industry in North Carolina and a leading source of employment opportunities across the United States. Our graduates find careers in education, multinational corporations, small businesses, and government agencies, such as the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Graduates from our programs are readily recruited and find good paying jobs with opportunities for advancement.
The Department of Agribusiness, Applied Economics and Agriscience Education provides opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds to achieve excellence through intellectual and technological advancements in agricultural education, agribusiness, agricultural economics and rural sociology that cultivate and enhance their potential for global leadership, productivity and competitiveness.
We offer the following undergraduate and graduate degree programs:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) - Agricultural and Environmental Systems with Concentration in Agribusiness and Food Industry Management
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) - Agricultural Education with Concentrations in Secondary Education or Agricultural Professional Service
- Master of Science (M.S.) - Agricultural Education with Concentrations in Professional Licensure or Professional Service
- Master of Science (M.S.) - Agricultural and Environmental Systems with Concentration in Agribusiness and Food Industry Management
