Become a Volunteer
- To apply to volunteer at the Aggie Source, we have an application process in place, and we accept volunteers on a semester basis or as needed. For individuals interested in volunteering, make sure to follow our social media accounts on Instagram and Facebook, where we regularly post updates about volunteer opportunities. If you're part of an organization looking to volunteer, please reach out to us directly at aggiesource@gmail.com. We look forward to having you join our efforts to support the campus community!
- Volunteers are expected to fulfill their obligations to the Aggie Source Food Pantry and Clothing Rack. We encourage volunteers to build their work schedules around their classes and what is most convenient for them. Tasks include greeting guests, assisting with check-ins, helping guests shop, weighing and sorting donated items, labeling and stocking goods, pantry clean-up, participating in food drives and special events, and providing office support.
If a volunteer is unable to attend their scheduled shift, they must notify the Aggie Source Coordinator at least 24 hours in advance. Volunteers can contact us through our attendance number for this purpose. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of volunteer privileges for the semester. Volunteers will receive one warning before any consequences are applied. Special consideration will be given in cases of emergency.
