Room Changes
There are three opportunities during an academic year for a student to request a room change. During each room change process, students are able to change their room assignment based on available spaces on campus. Students are responsible for completing their move and cover any additional charges on their student bill resulting from the room change within 24 hours of an approved request.
Fall Semester
Room Change Process September 15th- October 15th
Students must speak to their hall staff for inner-building room changes. Students interested in changing to another residence hall must report to the Housing and Residence Life main office for an updated listing of available spaces.
Note: If September 15th or October 15th falls on a weekend, the process will begin or end the business day after.
Room Change Freeze October 16th - January 31st
Students are not allowed to request any room changes, and no room changes will be approved during this time; unless there is an emergency as determined by Housing and Residence Life.
Spring Semester
Third Room Change Process February 1st - February 15th
Students interested in changing their current room assignment must report to the Housing and Residence Life main office for an updated listing of available spaces.
Note: If February 1st or February 15th falls on a weekend, the process will begin or end the business day after.
