E.L.E.V.A.T.E. Her Application Criteria
To be considered for the E.L.E.V.A.T.E. Her program, applicants should meet the following qualifications:
Leadership Experience
Demonstrate involvement in leadership activities within and beyond the classroom. Highlight diverse roles taken on during high school or in the community, reflecting your ability to lead and inspire others.
Commitment to Service
Show dedication to serving others through voluntary, unpaid, or paid activities in school, civic, religious, community, or professional settings. These contributions can be completed individually or as part of a team, emphasizing your impact and willingness to give back.
Extracurricular Involvement
Exhibit active participation in a variety of extracurricular opportunities such as academic, cultural, athletic, service-based, or religious programs. Applicants should outline their responsibilities and share how these experiences contributed to their personal or professional growth.
Awards and Recognition
Provide evidence of honors or achievements earned individually or as part of a group. These accolades can include school-related or external recognitions, reflecting sustained effort, excellence, and competitiveness.
Math Placement
A one time ALEKS placement test score.
Recommendation Letters
In addition to your responses via Qualtrics form, please also include two references who can speak to your leadership potential and character in the application. These references must be on an official letterhead and signed by the individuals providing them.
