Letters of Recommendation

  • Submit 3 letters of recommendation for consideration. Letters should be from a physician assistant, physician, nurse practitioner, professor or supervisor who has had direct interaction with the applicant. These individuals should be able to attest to the character, strengths, emotional intelligence and readiness for a career as a physician assistant. 

    *DO NOT submit letters from family members or a peer.
    **Letters should be submitted through the CASPA application portal by the letter author.

Personal Statement

  • Applicants are invited to submit one (1) personal statement through the CASPA application. The personal statement is the general CASPA personal statement (limited to 5,000 characters) that asks the applicant to describe why they want to be a physician assistant.
