Title III Enhancing A&T Award Program

Title III is dedicated to enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and overall quality of educational programs through rigorous and innovative approaches. Our commitment to these principles drives us to streamline processes, ensure precise outcomes, and foster continuous professional development.  

We focus on implementing creative solutions that not only address current challenges but also anticipate future needs, thereby positioning our team to excel in a dynamic environment. By upholding these core values, Title III aims to create a culture of excellence that empowers our staff to achieve their best and deliver exceptional results in all their endeavors.  Title III has created an award to show the appreciation we have for Support Personnel who display any of these qualities: 

Efficiency 
  • Completing tasks or projects   
  • Effectively and innovatively manage resources to achieve exceptional outcomes  
  • The overall impact of the efficient practices on the organization  
  • Reinforces the behaviors in others that need to be repeated  
  • Execute and/or accomplishes work early or by the deadline  
Accuracy 
  • Demonstrate exceptional precision, reliability, and correctness in their work.  
  • Stimulate collaboration and a positive work environment for accomplishing tasks  
  • Pays attention to important details of a task, project, etc.  
  • Produce accurate results consistently over time  
  • Adhere to standards, regulations, and guidelines  
Professional Development  
  • Attend Workshops, conferences, meetings relative to grants management  
  • Engage with Title III and campus partners  
  • Present on areas of expertise   
  • Submitting proposals   
  • Engages others within the workplace and models behavior

Creative Solutions 
  • Proactive in resolving conflict and solving problems

Title III’s Mission

  • Work to meet objectives by assisting peers through stimulating collaboration and a positive work environment for accomplishing tasks   
  • Accept responsibility and accountability in helping to advance the university mission and departmental goals 
  • Build effective collaborative relationships across different groups and departments 

The recipient of this award will foster cooperation, collaboration and open communication of the university’s policies and procedures to better perform beyond the scope of his/her regular day-to-day job duties and responsibilities. The recipient must have collaborated with others and exhibited significant efforts to advance departmental goals and Title III mission. 

Frequency of Award 
  • Annually 
Criteria for Selection 
  • Must be a full-time North Carolina A&T State employee 
  • Retired employees and groups/teams of employees are ineligible for this award 
  • Nominee must have a history of good standing with the University 
  • Nominee must be employed for at least 30 days 
  • Self-nominations are eligible  
  • Previous recipients are still eligible to receive the Title III Enhancing A&T Award  
  • Award recipients must be currently employed by the university at the time of the award distribution
