Commencement Updates

Below are recent updates regarding the Spring 2025 Commencement Ceremony:

• The Graduate Commencement will be held at 6:00 pm on May 9, 2025. Graduates should report to the First Horizon Coliseum Novant Fieldhouse no later than 4:30 p.m. No tickets will be required to attend. 
• The Undergraduate Commencement will be held at 9:00 am on May 10, 2025. Graduates should report to West Wing A in the Special Events Center at the First Horizon Coliseum Novant Fieldhouse no later than 7:30 a.m. No tickets will be required to attend. 

• Honor cords are only for undergraduate students. More information regarding graduating with honors can be found on the Candidate for Graduation page in the Undergraduate Student section.
• You will need a photo ID to pick up your name card. We will not release your name card to anyone other than you.
• Graduates must wear regalia. Graduation regalia can be purchased at the bookstore.  Accessories, such as tassels, will not be available for purchase the day of the ceremonies. For questions, please call (336) 334-7593.
• For the safety of all, masks are optional  while in the coliseum.
