Economics is a dynamic and versatile field that empowers you to tackle complex problems and make informed decisions in an ever-changing world. As one of the most popular majors at Ivy League schools, it attracts curious minds eager to understand how markets, governments, and individuals interact. Our Bachelor of Science in Economics equips you with critical thinking, data analysis, and forecasting skills, while providing practical expertise in tools like econometrics and statistical software. This foundation opens doors to careers in finance, consulting, public policy, and beyond, while also preparing you for graduate studies in law, business, or public administration. Whether you're analyzing global markets, evaluating policy impacts, or addressing pressing social challenges, economics offers the knowledge and skills to make a meaningful impact in any field. The Department of Economics offers three campus-based undergraduate programs: Economics, Economics with a Business Concentration, and Economics with a Law Concentration. Each program shares a core set of economics courses, with variations tailored to specific career paths.

We also offer a fully online Economics degree program, featuring the same core economics courses and 27 free elective hours (9 courses). These electives allow students to minor in another field or create a customized set of courses to support a specific area of interest.
