N.C. A&T MBA Program Ranks Among Top 10 for Best Value in 2021

EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Dec. 18, 2020) – North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s MBA Program is among the nation’s top 10 for best value in 2021, according to College Consensus.

“This best value MBA is a professional graduate business program that provides students with a thorough knowledge of the fundamental business essentials, including economics, management, accounting and finance,” College Consensus said in ranking N.C. A&T sixth on its national list. “MBA students who are talented, ambitious and can see opportunity in every challenge will be successful within the student-centered environment at North Carolina A&T State University.”

A&T offers its MBA program through the Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics in four concentrations: accounting, human resource management, supply chain management and general MBA. The latter three are also offered through the university’s online MBA program.

The Deese College has been accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International since 1979, when it became the first university in the Piedmont-Triad area to earn the organization’s prestigious stamp of quality. “Its leaders are committed to the development of business leaders and educational excellence,” College Consensus noted.

College Consensus researched and ranked the nation’s top MBA programs, then calculated their Return on Investment (ROI). The MBA base tuition cost was calculated for the entirety of the degree from tuition information on each MBA program website, while the business school average base salary used in the ROI calculation was recorded by U.S. News & World Report.

A&T joins Morgan State University, ranked at No. 11, as the only historically Black colleges or universities on the College Consensus Top 25 list. The other North Carolina universities on the list are Appalachian State University at No. 14 and University of North Carolina-Greensboro at No. 24.
