EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Feb. 26) – North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University senior Victor Solomon will debut on television screens across America Monday night for his blind audition on the season premiere of NBC’s hit singing competition series, “The Voice.”

Solomon is well known to Aggies as this year’s Mr. A&T, as well as the dynamic soloist who ended the Spring 2020 virtual graduation celebration video with a rousing rendition of “And I Rise Up.” Between Facebook and YouTube, that video has been seen more than 115,000 times.

Solomon is also a standout member of the highly regarded N.C. A&T Fellowship Gospel Choir.

The Voice began promoting the Monday night show on social media Friday with a six-minute clip of Solomon’s electrifying version of the Oscar-winning song, “Glory,” by Grammy-winning singer/pianist John Legend. Legend, one of the panelists for The Voice, signals in for Solomon, along with country music star Blake Shelton and singer/actor Nick Jonas.

The clip ends before Solomon announces which panelist he’ll choose as a coach, keeping viewers in suspense for the season premiere.

Viewers can see the entire performance Monday at 8 p.m. EST, 7 p.m. Central, on NBC. Check local listings for stations in your viewing area.
