Deese College Closing Bell Speaker Series to Feature Snow on Oct. 21

EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Oct. 12, 2021) – The Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University will host Philip Snow on Oct. 21 as part of its fall 2021 Closing Bell Speaker Series.

Phil SnowSnow is CEO and board member of FactSet, a business with more than 48 offices in 22 countries that creates data and software solutions for tens of thousands of investment professionals around the world, providing instant access to financial data and analytics that investors use to make crucial investment decisions. He has been in this role since 2015, previously serving as president.

Having begun his career at FactSet as a consultant in 1996, Snow spent several years establishing a growing the company’s presence in the Asian Pacific region, based in both Tokyo and Sydney. He subsequently held various leadership roles before assuming the role of senior vice president, director of U.S. investment management sales in 2013.

Snow earned a B.A. in chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley and Master in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute. He is passionate about of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and has committed FactSet to the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion.

The Closing Bell Speaker Series was established in September 2008 to bring successful professionals to the Deese College to engage students, faculty, staff and the community in topical discussions that reflect the changing global business environment.
