EAST GREENSBORO, NC (Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022) – North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University will return to normal operations on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022 at noon. The university will remain on Condition 2: Suspended Operations until that time.
The university has been on Condition 2 since Sunday, as the Piedmont Triad deals with a storm that brought several inches of snow and icy road conditions throughout the area. Under Condition 2, “the university remains open on a very limited basis, but has formally suspended all but mandatory operations. Mandatory employees must report to or remain at work; all other employees may not report to work or must leave the workplace.”
Students and employees coming to campus Wednesday are encouraged to exercise serious caution, allowing plenty of time for the commute. Be aware of the potential of black ice accruing from rain and snow melt that can freeze overnight into tough-to-see road hazards.
