EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Feb. 13, 2024) – North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s Office of Career Services (OCS) will host two spring career fairs for students this month.
The H.E.A.T. (Humanities/Health, Education and Arts majors and The Undecided) & Social Sciences Career Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 14, while the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math majors) & Business Career Fair will be Wednesday, Feb. 21.
Each career fair will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at two locations: the Deese Ballroom at the Student Center, 1403 John W. Mitchell Drive, and Alumni-Foundation Event Center, 200 N. Benbow Road.
Although each event is geared toward North Carolina A&T students in specific majors, both are open to all academic disciplines.
About 90 employers will be represented at this week’s fair, for which about 400 students have registered take part. Next week’s fair will feature about 150 employers, with more than 3,000 students registered to participate.
OCS brings more than 800 employers to campus and provides more than 55,000 position announcements yearly. As a result, many Aggies are employed in their fields upon graduation and A&T alumni early career earnings are among the best of any campus in the University of North Carolina System.
OCS offers a wide range of programs and services, including on-campus recruiting and employment connections, for A&T students and recent alumni. OCS an assist in understanding opportunities for students in all majors, as well as developing strategies to help achieve career goals.
OCS is also available 24/7 online at www.ncat.edu/provost/career-services/index.php to students, employers, faculty and parents with information on career fairs, summer internships and co-ops, on-campus interviewing and information sessions.
