EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Nov. 26, 2024) – The North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Theatre Arts Program will present “The Nativity: A Gospel Explosion,” in December.
Conceived, adapted and directed by Miller Lucky Jr., associate professor in N.C. A&T’s Department of Visual and Performing Arts, “The Nativity” is an inspiring gospel musical that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ.
This high-energy holiday show features vibrant songs and dances of praise and worship. The production is experienced through the eyes of Makaya and her little brother Najee, whose storybook comes to life before their eyes. Storytellers appear and guide them through a tale of hope, highlighting the reason for the season.
Join the nationally award-winning Richard B. Harrison Players for a visually stunning and emotionally stirring gospel experience in these performances at the Paul Robeson Theatre on A&T’s campus.
Performance dates and times are:
- Thursday, Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m.
- Friday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 7, at 3 and 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 8, at 3 p.m.
Admission is $17 for adults, $11 for senior citizens and non-A&T students, and $6 for children 12 and younger. A&T students receive free admission with their Aggie One Card.
